Matt Birch has joined Auctus Capital Markets Team
Auctus Group welcomes Mr. Matt Birch, Managing Director, Capital Markets, to the team, as of March 2016. As a practiced investment banker with approximately 14 years of experience in investment banking, finance and accounting, Matt is a tremendous asset to the Auctus Group, due to his proven track record of accomplishments and vast knowledge in the field.
He has previously worked in a variety of investment banking disciplines, both domestically and internationally, and at leading global bulge bracket and mid-market investment banks, including Lincoln International and Incapital LLC. His most recent role was Director at Balmoral Advisors LLC. Matt has also served as Vice President and Chief Operating Officer at Incapital’s London office.
Matt started his career at leading global firms, Donaldson Lufkin & Jenrette and CSFB. Over the years, Matt has advised on approximately $5 billion of large-cap transactions, $300 million of small and mid-cap, industrial M&A and capital structuring transactions, and $15 billion of investment grade debt issuance. Representative bulge bracket clients have included GE Capital, Bank of America, HSBC, Prudential, CIT, Boeing, DaimlerChrysler, Dow Chemical Axial, and Ferro Corporation. Representative small and mid-cap clients have included EPS Solutions, Trantech, Metal Spinners, Niagara Thermal Products, Aspect Automation, Haverhill Chemical, and East West Co-Polymer. Matt earned a B.B.A. in Finance, with the highest honors and distinction, from the University of Wisconsin, as well as completing a M.B.A. from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business
